Certificate in Digital & AI Evolution in Banking qualification, launched 2024. This professional banking qualification aims to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of digital, AI, and automated banking and the role of Fintech. Designed as an SCQF Level 8 and broadly comparable to EQF Level 5, this qualification was created for bank employees at all levels , in the UK and internationally, regardless of their own specialism. Key themes covered in this qualification are to appreciate the digital evolution that has, and is taking place in banking, to recognise the regulatory, social, and commercial responsibilities that impact this area of activity, and to understand the risks and benefits inherent in a reliance on technology. On completion of this module, learners are able to: 1. explain the scope and evolution of digital and AI transformation in banking 2. describe a range of digital systems, products and models that operate in banking markets 3. identify key technology-based risks inherent in the commercial and operational aspects of AI and digital banking 4. assess the scope and impact of regulation of digital and AI technology in banking, and AI and digital banking professional and ethical considerations.
