Associate member of the Chartered Banker Institute (ACBI) and Associate Chartered Banker
Individuals are admitted as Associate members of the Chartered Banker Institute on passing the appropriate examinations prescribed by the Board of Trustees for this purpose. They are entitled to use the designatory letters ACBI and the professional designation Associate Chartered Banker.
To remain an Associate, individuals must maintain their membership of the Chartered Banker Institute. Associates must adhere to the Institute's Rules and Regulations, including our Code of Professional Conduct and are also required to participate in and annually complete the Institute’s continuing professional development (CPD) programme.
Institute qualifications leading to Associate membership have changed over time and include the Dip IBScot, the Associates course and the Associate Chartered Banker Diploma.
